A number of schemes have been undertaken for Anchor in a Kitchen Refurbishment Project and also a Planned Maintenance Partnership. This is a long term Partnership which has been renewed due to the quality of work undertaken.
Kitchen Replacement
4 Care Homes in which 120 self contained flats where upgraded with new kitchens, this included a full rewire and decoration to provide a finished product.
Planned Maintenance
Various projects undertaken throughout the course of the partnership including:
• Communal Area Refurbishments
• Bathroom Replacements
• Kitchen Replacements
• Fire Doors
• External Works
Liaison
A dedicated Customer Care Advisor was appointed to this project. Due to the nature of the works and the age of the residents, the programme was discussed in detail to minimise disruption.
Complete resident liaison was provided including a number of the following specific initiatives:
• Coffee Mornings
• Resident Choice Days
• Christmas Dinner and activities
• Sports Day which was adopted for the elderly residents so all could partake
• Bingo where prizes were provided
This dedicated services ensured that the residents felt the impact of the works as little as possible and enabled them to meet and socialise throughout the works.
