Maxwell Court
19nr Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 dwellings on the site of an existing block of flats which had a history of anti-social behavior.
The design of the scheme was based around making the houses outward looking, and they were arranged around the perimeter of the site.
This allowed the rear gardens more privacy. There was a mix of house types. There were 6nr 2 bed bungalows, 15nr 2 & 3 bed semi-detached houses and a 4 bed detached house.
The dwellings made use of modern energy saving technologies with the most exciting being the photovoltaic panels, these were designed to look like roof tiles- in certain weather conditions you would not know they were there.
Kipling Road

The development contained 19nr 2, 3 and 4 bed semi-detached homes with an accessible bungalow, now complete the area has become safer and created a modern cul-de-sac of energy efficient houses.
